Ang Mo Kio

Ang Mo Kio used to be a "Kampung" within Singapore. It  is one of the oldest and more parochial insular of the island.

In 1973, it became the 7th New Town to be developped. It is located in north central Singapore and is considered today as a well established area with mature housing estates and all modern amenities available.

To reflect his unique identity, larger housing units were created to accomodate the wish of extended family to live together. The  community spirit is still vibrant here.

Ang Mio Kio tend to be less demographically cosmopolitan than some of the newer estates.
